This is a one off fee and if you are charged this you are the owner of the digitized logo and therefore you can ask for a copy. This means that if you decide to switch workwear clothing suppliers you can take the disc with you.
There are many different brands of polo shirts available, from great value workwear brands like Fruit of the Loom, Gildan, Stedman, Hanes to the more sporty brands like Slazenger, Nike and Ping. The pricing does vary from around £5 up to £30+ depending on embroidery and quantity required.
