Where Do You Get Started With An Online Business?

How To Get Started With An Online Business?
Everyone tells you that you need a website to start your online business. Well, it might be desirable to have your own website, but it is not essential.
You CAN start an online business without a website. There are several ways to start a business online.
If you can’t afford your own website, you could start on eBay or eBid with little or no initial start up costs.
Depending what options you use, you would only have very small insertion fees.
The advantage of using eBay or eBid is that you can sell items you no longer use or clothes that no longer fit. The first sales will generate capital to enable you to buy stock at wholesale prices.
The Trader Magazine advertises a variety of wholesalers. These wholesalers are usually strictly trade suppliers, but as you are setting up your own business, you are a trade customer.
You can build a Squidoo lens, write articles and submit them to article directories with back links to your lens. You can then have affiliate links for people to click on.
Never use a direct affiliate link in your article, it won’t get published.
Selling someone else’s products means that you don’t need to set up a pay button, the link will take the visitor to the seller’s site.
Never promote a product that you have not used or know nothing about, your recommendations reflect on you and your reputation is at stake.
If the product turns out to be useless, you lose your credibility and your customers.
So, it is possible to start a business online without your own website. However, having your own site opens up so many more possibilities.
You are not subject to Terms and Conditions, you do not have to worry about breaking any rules. You are your own master.
You can have a much more attractive site which is very easy to set up and you can basically do what you like with it.
You can have a static website or a blog depending whether you want to be interactive with your customers or not. A blog is more personal, you can get to know your visitors by their comments.
Initially, you have to forget about making money and offer free reports or guides to get people to join your mailing lists.
Once you have your subscriber list, try not to bombard them with sales pitch every day. Build their trust by offering free tips and information and you will have loyal subscribers.
